I left corporate life and New York City many years ago and moved to rural Maine. This has been a good choice.

• Reduce the demands you make of the earth.
  
• Reduce unnecessary travel.
  
• Eat low on the food chain.
  
• Not much alcohol.
  
• Keep walking.

Beyond basic survival, wealth doesn’t relate well to happiness.
